Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Kitchen Porter to join our team at AccorHotel. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Ensure that our back of house and the pass are set up correctly and kept tidy at all times. Collect and wash up pots, pans, plates, and cutlery, and return them to their place without being asked.
  • Food Preparation Sites: Ensure food preparation sites are clean and ready for use. Maintain a full stack of plates ready to be used by the kitchen at all times.
  • Delivery and Stock Management: Unload food and equipment deliveries and keep the storage organized. Keep track of stock levels and inform the Head Chef if an order needs to be placed.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with others to ensure a smooth operation. Support your team members and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, including work surfaces, walls, and floors.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is essential.
  • Teamwork and Communication: You must be able to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: You should be able to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, and be flexible in your approach to work.
