We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Respiratory Physiologist to join our team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Respiratory and Sleep Physiology department, you will be responsible for performing and reporting full lung function tests, limited sleep study analysis, and CPAP initiation and follow-up.
Main Responsibilities- Perform and report full lung function tests, limited sleep study analysis, and CPAP initiation and follow-up.
- Oversee more junior staff in both respiratory and sleep investigations.
- Ensure the smooth running of Respiratory Diagnostic services at Queens Hospital Burton and in the community at the newly developed CDC based at Sir Robert Peel Hospital.
- At least 1 year experience at Band 5 level as a Respiratory Physiologist.
- ARTP practitioner accreditation (or evidence of working towards achieving).
- Excellent communication skills and well-written supporting evidence.
- Evidence of team work and reporting respiratory and sleep investigations.
