  • Perform quality inspections on received goods to ensure compliance with standards and criteria.
  • Advise relevant departments and suppliers of defective products and produce corrective action documents.
  • Book goods into the ERP system (Sage 200) with accuracy and completeness.
  • Produce and provide reports and inspection reports as required.
  • Deal with purchasing queries related to bookings and deliveries.
  • Ensure attention to detail and follow the Goods Inwards and Quality Control Procedure.
  • Receive and pack goods safely using required equipment.
  • Meet set KPIs relevant to the area.

  • Experience with verniers, height gauges, and other measurement equipment.
  • Knowledge of machined components and Sub-Tier machining & Sub Contract Treatments suppliers.
  • Higher level Gauge R&R and metrology lab experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to accurately work to procedures and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
  • Experience in an ISO9001 environment and ability to manually measure and inspect machined parts.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages.
  • Ability to take instruction and build good rapport with departments.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and experience with Sage Manufacturing or similar package.
  • Excellent attention to detail and forklift experience.
