About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Advisor to join our team at Moorepay. As a Senior Payroll Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing a first-class, professional service to our clients, recognizing the importance of everyone providing a great client experience.
This role is based from our office on a hybrid basis, with three days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:- Work in a team alongside Payroll Assistants and Payroll Advisors to ensure client payrolls are managed timely, accurately, and securely.
- Own and take responsibility for the client journey, always ensuring service excellence.
- Communicate with clients to address their payroll or Moorepay system queries, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Sales, Client Success, Marketing, and Technology, to facilitate seamless client payroll management.
- Utilize the CRM to record details of all client interactions, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Maintain awareness of specific client requirements and document them within the payroll system.
- Complete tasks accurately and efficiently, adhering to deadlines, instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular client reviews to assess their payroll needs and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Identify and report system bugs and improvement ideas to technical support.
- Share knowledge with peers to create a team of payroll experts.
- Coach and mentor Payroll Assistants and Payroll Advisors to enhance their payroll and Moorepay system expertise.
- Collaborate with payroll processors to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Contribute to process improvements and share ideas to enhance our services.
- Stay up-to-date with current statutory and legislative compliance, attending seminars and workshops to expand knowledge.
- Previous experience working in Payroll, at an Advisor or Senior Advisor level.
- CIPP or equivalent qualifications are desirable.
- Excellent ability in building positive customer relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Moorepay HR expertise or alternate platforms (desirable).
- Experience of operating within an outsourcing service provider (desirable).
- Eager to learn and develop.
- Great coaching and mentoring skills.
- Highly organized and methodical in your approach.
