Smart Sourcer is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our digital consulting business, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative solutions for our clients in the retail sector.
About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in solution architecture, preferably in the retail industry. Your expertise will be essential in shaping and leading solutions for our clients, leveraging your knowledge of end-to-end solution architecture, application development, and integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive solution architectures for our clients, ensuring seamless integration and data management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and expertise to succeed.
- Conduct thorough analysis of client requirements, identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and project progress.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Solution Architect in the retail industry or a similar sector.
- Proven track record of delivering end-to-end solution architecture projects, including application development and integration.
- Experience with project-based work, preferably in loyalty management, mobile, e-commerce, data, supply chain, Point of Sale (POS), customer relationship management (CRM), merchandising, or payments.
- Framework experience with TOGAF, Zachman, POET, or PEAF.
- Strong background in software development, preferably with a relevant degree in Computer Science or Technology (minimum 2:1).
- Excellent stakeholder management, client-facing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in client sites in and around London 2 days per week, with the remainder of the time working remotely.
What We Offer
Smart Sourcer offers a competitive salary range of £80k-£95k, plus a 10% bonus, and excellent benefits. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our clients in the retail sector.
