Position Overview:
We are excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a Property Consultant to become a part of our esteemed Technical Due Diligence & Property Consultancy team.
The primary responsibilities will revolve around transactional assignments within the UK, while also providing opportunities to engage in projects across Europe. The role encompasses a varied workload that includes technical advisory, professional services, and heritage projects, customized to align with the unique skills and career goals of the selected candidate.
The ideal applicant should exhibit technical proficiency and possess significant experience in commercial property consultancy, particularly in Technical Due Diligence (TDD) and Condition Assessments. Additionally, they should demonstrate the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively.
With an emphasis on delivering efficient client service, the candidate will work collaboratively within project teams to achieve outstanding results for our clients. Strong communication abilities and the capacity to engage directly with clients are essential.
Effective time management skills to meet project deadlines and ensure profitable outcomes for assignments are crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on TDD guidance, risk identification, severity evaluation, and mitigation strategies. This includes Technical Due Diligence and professional work primarily in commercial and heritage properties.
- Opportunities for managerial and technical skill enhancement and career progression within the team.
- Oversee technical consultancy projects including TDD, condition assessments, dilapidations, and various projects.
- Ensure clear communication for successful project execution.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Team Leaders for effective financial oversight.
- Provide regular updates on progress to the Sector Director.
- Support and mentor junior property consultants.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Building Surveying or a related field with practical experience.
- Strong technical capabilities across various disciplines.
- Proficiency in project risk management.
- Ability to adapt to stringent project timelines.
- Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Familiarity with funders' requirements in the transaction process.
- Knowledge of technical, legislative, and commercial factors.
- Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills.
