About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Akari Care, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional culinary experiences for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook nutritious meals that cater to individual needs and preferences
  • Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory, and staff supervision
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Lead by example, motivating and coaching a team to achieve high standards
Requirements
  • City & Guilds &2, or equivalent (achieved or working towards)
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Head chef or Head Cook experience in a similar environment
  • Supervisory or Line Management experience
  • A caring nature and ability to provide personalized service
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and delegate effectively
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changes at short notice
