Mechanical Site Supervisor Position

Salary Range: £45,000 to £50,000

Location: London Area

Our client, a prominent player in the telecommunications sector, is in search of a proficient Mechanical Site Supervisor, ideally possessing SSSTS certification. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing mechanical operations, ensuring optimal performance, and upholding superior quality standards within the commercial sector. This role is primarily site-based.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct a team of mechanical technicians, ensuring smooth and effective operations.
  • Apply mechanical knowledge to swiftly troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
  • Lead project management efforts, ensuring the successful execution of mechanical systems and processes.
  • Interpret and manage logic controllers and schematics to guarantee the safe and accurate functioning of equipment.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations rigorously, fostering a secure working environment for all personnel.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems and equipment, pinpointing areas for enhancement and implementing necessary modifications.

Qualifications:

  • SSSTS certification is preferred.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven experience in supervising and guiding mechanical teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of motivating and directing team members.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project management principles and their application in mechanical projects.
  • Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems, with the capability to accurately interpret schematics.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining and optimizing mechanical equipment.
  • Experience in the fit-out of superstores is highly advantageous.
