Job Summary
Detail2Recruitment is seeking an experienced Production Operative to join a specialist manual materials company in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a manufacturing, construction, or agricultural industry, with a focus on health and safety, teamwork, and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate as part of a team to achieve daily production targets, including preparing molds, producing planned products, and maintaining efficient workflows.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge, and communicate daily with the Team Leader on production progress.
- Complete daily production records, including timesheets, and maintain an acceptable level of housekeeping.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives, and work flexibly within the Production department.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, construction, or agricultural industry, or a relevant role.
- Understanding of health and safety at work, and a strong commitment to adhering to the SHEQ Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality management system.
- Flexibility in working hours, strong adaptability skills, and good communication and teamwork experience.
- Ability to read technical drawings and operate hand, air, and power tools, with a valid counterbalance forklift license or overhead crane license.
- CSR, First Aid, and Fire Warden training, and a strong understanding of both written and spoken English.
