Accounts Payable Role

The Nigel Wright Group is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join their Finance Team. This is a fixed-term contract opportunity for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process invoices accurately and in compliance with company policies.
  • Update customer files, including contact details and payment terms.
  • Reconcile transactions and query any discrepancies.
  • Chase outstanding invoices as necessary.
  • Communicate with customers and internal departments to resolve payment issues.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of all invoices.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role.
  • High volumes of invoices processed.
  • Computer literacy, particularly in MS Excel and SAGE.
  • High levels of accuracy and ability to work in a process-driven environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to liaise with customers and internal departments.
  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines while working as part of a team.
