About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to join our dynamic and compassionate team at Sue Ryder St John's Hospice.

We are seeking a Senior Registered Nurse to provide expert palliative care support and advice to our patients, their families, and other care professionals.

As a key member of our community team, you will operate our 24-hour telephone support line, working alongside another nurse or nursing assistant.

You will require excellent assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation skills to ensure our patients receive high standards of personalized care.

Additionally, you will support and lead our visiting nursing assistants and be responsible for the allocation of team visits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide palliative care support and advice to patients, families, and care professionals

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Senior Registered Nurse with experience in palliative care.

You will have excellent communication skills, be able to work flexibly, and be able to lead and empower others.

A knowledge of SystemOne and the independent sector would be advantageous.
