Position Overview:
We are currently in search of a qualified Paraplanner with a Diploma in Financial Planning. This role is pivotal in supporting our Advisers by generating comprehensive reports, conducting thorough research, and providing technical insights related to financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Paraplanner, your duties will include:

  • Creating precise and compliant client reports within set deadlines.
  • Assisting in the preparation of client portfolio evaluations.
  • Responding to technical inquiries from clients.
  • Developing client cash flow projections.
  • Contributing to the maintenance of the firm's preferred provider panels, ensuring ongoing assessment of recommended structures and providers.
  • Collaborating with the Technical Unit to enhance standard reports, templates, and tools across various advisory areas.
  • Providing training to staff members on diverse advisory topics.
  • Generating technical bulletins for clients and introducers as necessary.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess at least a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, with a minimum of three years of experience in a similar capacity. A strong background in drafting detailed Suitability Reports and conducting extensive research is essential.

Having completed Pensions exams (AF6) would be advantageous, as the role involves Pension Transfers. Candidates with Chartered qualifications will also be considered favorably.

Compensation:
This position offers a competitive salary of approximately £40,000, along with employer pension contributions, 24 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, and a discretionary bonus scheme.
