We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Skilled Tradesperson to join our team at One Manchester. As a Multi-Skilled Carpenter, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of repairs and maintenance tasks across our properties and for external clients.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out operational duties as an all-round multi-skilled tradesperson, including associated works, across the full range of repairs services.
- Work with an ethos of 'Right First Time' to complete repairs where practicable in one visit, ensuring high quality workmanship and high standards of performance.
- Deal with customers face-to-face, providing excellent customer service and a positive and proactive approach to work.
- Be self-sufficient and able to work independently, with a strong focus on safety and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Hold a Full UK driving licence (manual).
- Served and completed a recognised trade apprenticeship or appropriate NVQ L3 standard.
- Currently hold or be willing to work towards a fire safety qualification, such as BMTrada or Firas accreditation.
- Evidence of key competencies specifically in Joinery (core trade) and supporting skills relating to plumbing, plastering, and aqua panelling.
- Working knowledge of legislation relating to H&S and CDM.
- Experience of working within a customer-facing environment, offering excellent customer service.
- Ability to work carefully, methodically and safely, with good planning and organisational skills.
