Nursery Manager Opportunity

Staff Match is seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our team in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the nursery, while maintaining a strong focus on delivering high-quality early years education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional care and education to children
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, and provide regular updates on their child's progress
  • Market and manage occupancy, and oversee the financial and administrative aspects of the nursery
  • Embed the EYFS curriculum in practice, and prepare for Ofsted inspections
  • Manage recruitment, supervision, and appraisals, and ensure that all staff are equipped to provide the best possible care and education
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of leadership and management
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and Paediatric First Aid qualifications (desirable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with parents and staff
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
