Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team at Multitech Site Services Ltd. As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and detailed estimates for electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend client sites to gather project requirements and specifications
  • Interpret client specifications and produce scope of works and quotations
  • Undertake take-offs and pricing of electrical works, including load calculations and cable sizing
  • Collaborate with suppliers and wholesalers to obtain prices and negotiate contracts
  • Present and discuss offers with clients, addressing any technical questions or concerns
  • Follow up on all tenders submitted and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Utilize strong negotiation skills to secure contracts and drive business growth
  • Liaise with the operations team to ensure seamless project handovers

Requirements:

  • Formal electrical qualification, such as a trade electrician, engineering, or electrical building services degree
  • Experience with enquiry documents and prequalification requirements
  • On-site experience, preferably in the electrical industry
  • Understanding of electrical mains, sub-mains connections, and cable sizing
  • Familiarity with plumbing, preferably with experience in electrical-plumbing projects
  • Knowledge of different contract types, including JCT and NEC
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft 365
