Senior Biomedical Scientist Opportunity

Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital | Pathology | Permanent | Full time

Competitive salary up to £47,000 per annum, depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Biomedical Scientist to join our Pathology Team at Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality pathology services and taking a share of covering on-call service out of hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, and reporting, through to quality control.
  • Keep records of specimens, results, reagents, and consumables.
  • Support the organisation in validating and assessing new equipment and developing new diagnostic procedures.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the HCPC and relevant laboratory experience in Haematology or Biochemistry.
  • Good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of multi-disciplinary techniques.
  • Excellent communication and team player skills.
