Job Description

Job Title: Crane Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:

Lloyds British is seeking a highly skilled Crane Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a Crane Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting routine service inspections to overhead cranes and hoists, ensuring they are safe to use and meet legal obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine service inspections to overhead cranes and hoists
  • Understand LOLER and PUWER regulations
  • Consult with customers to ensure next steps are recorded and prevention of breakdowns is prioritized
  • Anticipate and resolve problems before they occur
  • Perform frontline maintenance, attending to breakdowns and carrying out fault finding, retrofits, modernizations, and upgrades to customers' cranes and hoists

Requirements:

  • NVQ3, HNC, HND, or C&G electrical engineering qualification
  • Relevant industry experience working with cranes and hoists
  • Current UK driving license

Attributes:

  • Proven technical knowledge of lifting equipment and lifting machines
  • Excellent customer service manner, with strong listening and interpersonal skills
