As a Site Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing nationwide civils projects ranging from £500k to £15m in value. Your role involves supervising diverse project aspects, ensuring their safe, timely, and budget-compliant completion, all while meeting specific quality standards and regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Liaising with clients and stakeholders
* Updating and maintaining progress reports
* Executing and upholding company protocols and guidelines
* Coordinating and overseeing all aspects of construction activities on site
* Identifying project-related issues and ensuring they are solved efficiently
* Overseeing and ensuring the upkeep of site facilities and equipment
* Managing and providing support and guidance to the groundworks team
* Overseeing daily operations on construction sites, ensuring efficient progress
* Coordinating and liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and construction workers
* Ensuring tasks are accomplished according to schedule and within financial plan
* Carrying out consistent inspections to verify quality standards are significantly met
* Adhering to Health and Safety regulations, while upholding a secure work environment
* Managing project budgets and expenses, including procurement of materials and equipment
* Monitoring work quality and ensuring that construction activities meet specified standards and client expectations
* Staying in regular contact with your team, engaging in ongoing discussions about project updates and handling any issues that may arise
* Maintaining precise documentation of site operations, encompassing progress updates, safety evaluations, and daily records
