Job Summary
RPS Group is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Leakage Technician. As a key member of our South East Water contract, you will be responsible for conducting detailed investigations of clean water networks to identify leakage and unaccounted for consumption.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations of water networks to pinpoint leak locations and promote repairs.
- Utilize specialized equipment to identify and quantify leaks, and provide detailed reporting via data collection apps.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure effective repair and maintenance of water infrastructure.
- Perform step testing and pressure zero testing of water networks to identify areas of high risk.
Requirements
- Previous experience in water network investigation and leakage detection.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of correlation, ground mic, quantification, and step testing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
- Competent IT skills and ability to use data collection apps.
- Full UK driving license and ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
