Mental Health Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our Mental Health Team in Stockport. As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working with children, adolescents, families, and professionals to provide mental health assessments, evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions, and consultation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mental health assessments and evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents
  • Work collaboratively with schools and colleges to promote mental health and wellbeing
  • Contribute to the development and provision of services to children and young people
  • Engage in clinical supervision and peer review meetings to monitor effectiveness of clinical work
  • Work with a defined caseload of service users, providing assessment, care planning, and care delivery
  • Identify and develop strategies to manage risk to the child and others
  • Provide specialist advice to other members of staff and trainees
  • Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams and outside agencies to implement patient care
