Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Adolescent Team, providing specialist mental health services for young people in Bromley. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with adolescents up to 18 years and their families/carers, addressing significant and acute mental health difficulties.
About the Role
This is a part-time position, with 6 PAs available. You will manage a complex caseload, providing assessment and intervention within the multi-disciplinary team, including psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, child psychotherapists, nurses, family therapists, and support staff. You will also provide specialist advice and support to professional colleagues both internal and external to the Trust.
Service Overview
Bromley CAMHS provides specialist mental health consultation, assessment, and treatment to children and young people aged 0-18 years with severe and enduring emotional, behavioural, and mental health difficulties. Our service is aligned to the core principles of the Children & Young People's IAPT framework (CYP-IAPT) and offers evidence-based interventions informed by national and local policy.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent therapeutic skills and the ability to be responsive and flexible in working with young people. You will have a strong understanding of the complexities of adolescent mental health and be able to provide specialist advice and support to colleagues.
