Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Full-time, Long-term

Location: South West London

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Mixed Secondary School and Sixth Form in South West London. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support identified students in 1:1, group, or whole-class situations
  • Work with teachers to ensure each student's learning needs are identified and met
  • Lead small group sessions and interventions to support student learning
  • Attend to students' personal needs when required
  • Support behaviour management and use appropriate strategies in line with academy policy
  • Undertake learning activities/teaching programmes when needed

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clear and up-to-date Enhanced DBS
  • UK Bachelor's Degree or overseas equivalent
  • Previous experience of working with children or teenagers
