Role Overview:
As a Food Production Packer, you will be an integral part of a dedicated and friendly team operating in a dynamic environment. Your primary responsibilities will include a variety of tasks related to food production and preparation, customer service, and overall operational support, all while adhering to stringent Health and Food Safety standards.
Shift Pattern:
Your shifts will be variable, with an example schedule as follows:
- Monday: Full-time (Days)
- Tuesday: Full-time (Days)
- Wednesday: Off
- Thursday: Full-time (Days)
- Friday: Off
- Saturday: Off
- Sunday: Full-time (Days)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality checks on products according to established operating standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of food packing areas and outgoing goods.
- Record critical control points and perform daily/weekly checks using our online HACCP management system.
- Support the loading of outgoing products onto the delivery fleet in the correct sequence.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills and maintain a professional demeanor in all duties.
- Ensure that the final product meets the required quality standards.
- Complete daily inspections and report any defects to your supervisor.
- Adhere to company policies regarding PPE and health and safety protocols.
- Follow procedures for reporting absences, requesting leave, and other relevant processes.
- Engage in the Performance Management process to achieve personal and team objectives.
About You:
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, following instructions proactively and as needed.
- Demonstrate care for your own health and safety, as well as that of others.
- Utilize work equipment and personal protective gear according to training and guidelines.
- Maintain competency in completing tasks in line with required standards.
- Act in accordance with guidelines and procedures to maximize quality control.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to hygiene and quality service.
- Possess good numerical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Build positive relationships with customers and team members.
