About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team at Gi Group. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods and parcels safely and efficiently to designated locations within set time frames.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safe loading and unloading of parcels onto a van.
  • Delivery of products, goods, and parcels to designated locations within set time frames.
  • Proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorization if necessary.
  • Deliver high standards of customer care.
  • Properly use and maintain delivery equipment, including a handheld scanner.
  • Complete up to 100 drops per day.

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving license with no more than 6 points and not have been disqualified in the last five years.
  • Multi-drop experience (preferable).
  • An enthusiasm and passion to deliver the best service at all times.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with an ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team.

What We Offer:

Gi Group is a leading recruitment agency, and we offer a competitive hourly rate of £13.42 per hour (overtime available at 1.5x). We also offer a temp to perm contract with up to 5 days of work per week, Monday to Friday, with hours of work from 9am to finish.
