About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Property and Technical Manager to join our team at Legal & General Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of our assets and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Asset Data Management: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate and comprehensive asset data is captured and maintained throughout the component lifecycle.
  • Asset Optimization: Work with the Data team to analyze asset data and identify opportunities for improvement, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Customer Insight: Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for product improvement and enhance the overall quality of our homes.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze performance metrics at asset, building, and portfolio levels to inform business decisions and drive asset optimization.
  • Business Planning: Contribute to business planning assumptions for long-term asset investment, working closely with the Head of Investment and Compliance.
  • Retrofit Works: Support the Head of Investment and Compliance and Head of Sustainability in considering retrofit works as part of our goal to achieve Net Zero Carbon.
Requirements
  • Strong Academic Background: RICS qualification advantageous, with a strong academic background in residential property management and property surveying.
  • Asset Optimization Experience: Proven experience in asset optimization and the factors that drive efficient asset management.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical expertise in affordable housing products, specifications, costs, and product lifecycles.
  • Developing Major Works Programmes: Experience in developing major works programmes at asset and portfolio levels.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
