Financial Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Qualified Accountant to join our client's team in Belfast City Centre. As a key member of the financial management team, you will be responsible for the financial management of the organisation, including budget management, centralised reporting of project financial information, and management of project cashflows.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial management, including budgeting and cashflow management.
- Preparation of claim submissions to the external project controller, including provision of audit documentation in respect of claims verification.
- Preparation of consolidated financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of Annual Accounts, in line with Government Accounting standards for submission to the Northern Ireland Audit Office and Companies House.
- Assist with financial month end on a timely basis to include preparation of financial reporting packs for key stakeholders.
- Ensure that the organisation fulfils its financial management and reporting commitments.
- Provide advice to project partners on all programme rules and procurement activities in accordance with relevant guidelines/legislation.
- Support management team in the co-ordination and cascading of project outcomes to intermediate and lower-level operational plans and targets.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Corporate and Delivery Plan.
- The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants
- Chartered Accountants Ireland
- The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland
- The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales
- The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
- The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy
- The Institute of Certified Public Accounts in Ireland; or equivalent
- A Fully Qualified Accounting Technician
