Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Rigger to join our team at PJD Mechanical Engineering Ltd. As a Rigger, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of rigging and lifting duties on our industrial power plant sites across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lifting plans to ensure safe and efficient completion of tasks
  • Inspect lifting equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation strategies
  • Support the company's overall objectives and schedule

Requirements

  • Trade qualification in a relevant field (e.g. time served L3 NVQ or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a site environment
  • ECITB CCNSG certification
  • Confined Space Medium Risk training (training may be available if required)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • AP desired but not essential
