GreenScape Specialist Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Project Operations Manager to oversee high-end garden and landscape projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our client's vision is realized through meticulous planning and execution.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of horticulture, and a comprehensive grasp of construction and civil engineering principles.

The Project Operations Manager will manage 2 to 3 projects concurrently, guiding them from the initial design phase through to successful completion and client handover.

As projects transition into the construction phase, the manager will collaborate closely with clients, site personnel, and quantity surveyors, while maintaining direct communication with company leadership.


  • Supervise daily operations of luxury garden and landscape initiatives, ensuring adherence to the highest quality standards.
  • Take responsibility for the site construction team, including training, performance evaluations, and onboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Source and manage subcontractors, fostering strong relationships across all trades involved.
  • Deliver detailed reports on project quality, timelines, and performance metrics to assist directors in monitoring project progress and financial health.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of materials, labor, additional work, variations, and invoicing events.
  • Utilize various office software, including email, Excel, and project management tools like MS Project, to enhance project efficiency.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in garden and commercial landscaping, particularly within the luxury sector, managing multiple teams across various sites.
  • Exhibit strong horticultural knowledge alongside an understanding of hard landscape construction and civil engineering where applicable.
  • Act as a professional representative of the company, maintaining credibility and effective communication with clients and staff.
  • Possess proven leadership skills with a background in operations management.
  • Be financially savvy, with experience managing projects and resources within budget constraints.
  • Show proficiency in IT, particularly with MS Office applications.
  • Understand the practical, technical, financial, and qualitative aspects of garden projects.
