Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at LTF Recruitment. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom support to children with Autism, Speech and Communication Difficulties, ADHD, and Severe Social Anxieties.
  • Demonstrate a nurturing and supportive nature with good behavior management skills.
  • Plan and deliver interventions for students accessing additional SEND support.
  • Identify existing and potential barriers to students' learning and help them to overcome them.

Requirements:

  • Be adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom roles, both indoors and outside according to the individual need.
  • Form effective relationships with staff and pupils.
  • Have previous experience of working with children who have special educational needs.
  • Have a positive attitude and willingness to succeed.
