Job Title: Class 1 Casual Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 Casual Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 Casual Driver, you will be responsible for delivering loads to and from businesses, ensuring load security, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver loads to and from businesses, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Load and unload vehicles, ensuring load security and safety.
  • Deal with customers face-to-face and over the phone, providing excellent customer service.
  • Keep in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and manage customer expectations.
  • Attend regular training sessions to maintain and improve skills.
Requirements:
  • Must hold a valid UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • Work to deadlines and be flexible with working hours.
  • Be a confident, polite, and team player with good geographical knowledge.
  • Be fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
