We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Installation professional to join our team as a Temporary Lecturer. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and mentor the next generation of tradespeople in a dynamic and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Electrical Installation and a passion for teaching and learning. They will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons, developing and implementing lesson plans, and monitoring student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in Electrical Installation, utilizing a range of teaching methods to engage students.
- Develop and implement lesson plans and schemes of work, ensuring they meet curriculum requirements and are aligned with industry standards.
- Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure students achieve their full potential.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance, using data to inform teaching and learning strategies.
- Support students in exam and assessment preparation, providing guidance and resources to ensure they are well-prepared.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience, sharing best practices and expertise to drive student success.
Requirements:
- Level 3 NVQ qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- 18th Edition certification.
- Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, CertEd).
- Teaching experience in Electrical Installation (desirable).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Commitment to continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
