About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team at Kings Camps. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy, fun, and inclusive sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years.

As a Sports Coach, you will work closely with our Camp Manager and a team of like-minded individuals to create a safe and engaging environment for our young participants. Your primary focus will be on designing and delivering sports and activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of our campers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality sports sessions that promote physical activity, teamwork, and social interaction among campers.
  • Develop and implement engaging sports and activity programs that cater to different age groups and abilities.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times, supervising them during activities, meals, and breaks.
  • Collaborate with the Camp Manager and other staff members to achieve program goals and objectives.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in sports coaching and child development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience working with children aged 5-17 years.
  • At least 3 months' experience coaching a sport or active game.
  • A Level 2 or higher qualification in Primary or Secondary Teaching, Sports Coaching, or Physical Education.
  • Paediatric First Aid certification (training opportunities available).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
