Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Avionics Engineer to join our team of experts in the field of in-flight entertainment systems. As a leading provider of Flying Entertainment products, we offer a great culture, training platform, and long-term career trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations to In-flight Entertainment Systems on aircraft subjected to FAA/CAA/EASA/CASA Regulations.
- Troubleshoot electronic products, cabling or seat consoles in which failures occur down to the line replaceable Units using your knowledge of electronics.
- Identify necessary repairs to restore functional acceptance, which may require the removal and replacement of defective line replaceable Units and/or cabling.
- Operate vehicles on airport property including around aircraft on the ground.
- Document the testing and repairs using computer and bar-coding equipment.
- Assist in tracking an inventory of spares.
- Meet regulatory licensing requirements and hold a valid UK driver's license.
- Appropriate academic/technical qualifications and experience to satisfy regulatory licensing, FAA A&P UK CAA / EASA.
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions, procedures, blueprints, diagrams, manuals and to comprehend and follow verbal instruction in English.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook (MS products).
- Knowledge of electronic and troubleshooting generally acquired through commercial aviation, military experience or technical school education combined with one or two years of related industry experience.
- Ability to work in a high-energy, high-pressure environment with strict deadlines.
