About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health issues to achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with service users to develop and implement individually tailored support and risk management plans.
  • Provide a range of recovery-focused support through key working sessions, enabling individuals to gain new skills and promote long-term recovery.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive and person-centered approach to support.
  • Contribute to the day-to-day running of the service, including managing a small caseload and participating in rota shifts.

Requirements

  • Experience in the mental health sector, with a good understanding of the recovery model.
  • A solution-focused attitude and a person-centered approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
