We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse to join our team as a Surgical Ward Sister/Charge Nurse at a private hospital in East London.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Senior Sister/Ward Manager in the efficient running of the ward, ensuring seamless patient care and safety.
- Coordinate activity and be responsible for patient care and safety, working closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals.
- Be instrumental to the patient experience, ensuring personalized care and a supportive working culture on the ward.
- Work well with consultants who are experts in their field, applying knowledge and skills in assessment, care planning, and delivery.
- Champion a supportive, enabling working culture on the ward, promoting staff safety and well-being.
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a valid NMC Pin number.
- Experience in surgical or acute care settings, with a strong understanding of surgical procedures and patient care standards.
- Leadership skills to manage and support a team of nurses, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies and make quick decisions, with organizational skills for managing patient care plans and ward operations.
- Commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety protocols, with flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Continuing education to stay updated with nursing practices and industry developments.
