Lead Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking two experienced financial professionals to join our team as Lead Accountants. These roles will be responsible for working with a team of finance officers, embracing and helping develop our excellent business partnering approach in support of our service managers and directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the financial aspects of the Council's ambitious capital programme
  • Work with a team of finance officers to develop and implement financial strategies
  • Provide financial guidance and support to service managers and directors
  • Contribute to the development of business partnering approaches

Requirements:

  • CCAB/CIMA qualification
  • Extensive experience in managing staff
  • Excellent people, communication, and staff management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
