About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Disability Assessor. As a Disability Assessor, you will work autonomously to assess the cases of individuals applying for a Work Capability Assessment (WCA) as part of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Use your clinical expertise to work with individuals with diverse health conditions, gaining a clear understanding of how their challenges and disabilities impact their daily life.
  • Conduct approximately 45-minute assessments over the telephone, video, or face-to-face, working within an office-style environment and at home.
  • Interpret medical evidence and gather findings into a comprehensive report to support the decision-making process by the DWP.
Requirements
  • NMC/HCPC registration is required.
  • 1 year of experience in Physiotherapy is required.
