About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Sunshine House, a short break unit providing respite care to children and young people with complex disabilities and healthcare needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless and transparent services.
  • Assist with the delivery of clinics and community-based care, working in partnership with families and carers to promote the health and wellbeing of our service users.
  • Contribute to the development of our team, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance the quality of care and support we provide.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
  • Experience of working with children and young people, including those with complex needs and disabilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.
  • Basic IT skills and ability to use electronic records systems.
