Join Our Team as an Application Engineer II

As a hands-on expert in Ansys products, you will use advanced-level engineering knowledge to provide technical pre-sales support, perform professional services, and help translate customer requirements into exciting new product features.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply engineering expertise and knowledge of Optics simulation techniques to provide exceptional technical support to customers.
  • Take ownership of customer problems, proactively engaging with selected accounts to provide comprehensive Optics solutions.
  • Provide introductory and/or intermediate training classes and contribute to the delivery of professional services for projects.
  • Gather customer requirements to support the improvement of Ansys software and collaborate with the Ansys product development teams.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience in using commercial optical software tools.
  • Fluent in writing and speaking English.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of time.
  • Familiarity with Python.
  • Preferred education and years of professional experience in an engineering software environment.
