Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 Refuse Truck Driver to join our team at Quality Service Recruitment. As a key member of our waste management team, you will be responsible for collecting general household waste, recycling, and garden waste on set routes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a Rear Steer Refuse Vehicle to collect waste on designated routes
  • Work collaboratively with loaders to ensure efficient waste collection
  • Support the loading team as needed
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed during waste collection

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of work experience as a professional driver
  • Ability to provide references
  • Comfortable with refuse driving and occasional loading

Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with an immediate start. The working hours are Tuesday to Friday, with a typical workday lasting 9-10 hours. The hourly rate is £14.71, increasing to £14.75 after 12 weeks.
