About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to join our team at VolkerWessels UK. As a Site Agent, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of projects across our Southern Renewals Enterprise, working on multiple individual schemes across Network Rail's Southern Route.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of projects across the route, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Oversee the management of schemes, including Buildings, Structures, and Earthworks & Drainage.
  • Develop and implement safe systems of work, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects, including project managers, engineers, and site staff.
  • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in structures/civils projects, ideally in a Rail environment.
  • Strong technical and project management skills, with the ability to produce Work Package Plans and Task Briefing Sheets.
  • Excellent organisational and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental issues relevant to the project environment.
  • Certifications: PTS, CITB SMTS, CSCS, Temporary Works Co-ordinator.
