HGV 2 HIAB Driver Wanted

We are seeking a skilled HGV 2 HIAB driver to join our team at CDH Recruitment Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a valid HIAB licence with hook and brick grab and extensive experience driving a 26 Tonne vehicle.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Transport materials and equipment safely and efficiently to various locations.
  • Perform deliveries and collections to customer sites and other designated areas.
  • Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
  • Ensure equipment is loaded and unloaded safely and securely.
  • Verify that the total payload does not exceed the vehicle's weight limit.
  • Use approved methods to secure the load of the vehicle.
  • Check paperwork to ensure delivery/collection loads are accurate.
  • Account for all equipment on the vehicle.
  • Visually inspect equipment being loaded and unloaded.

Requirements:

  • Hold a full clean driving licence valid in the UK, with no more than 6 points on the licence.
  • Hold a HGV Driving Licence.
  • Hold a CPC Licence.
  • Hold a HIAB Licence with hook and brick grab.
  • Hold a Digi Tacho Card.
  • Have experience driving a 26 Tonne vehicle.
  • Present themselves in a professional manner.
  • Be able to perform manual handling tasks.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday.
  • Hours between 6am and 6pm.
  • The position is ongoing for the right candidate.
