Job Summary:

Menzies Distribution Limited is seeking a skilled HGV/LGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting products on behalf of our company and its customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Class 1 HGV/LGV vehicle to deliver and collect products from various locations.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Load and unload products from the vehicle, taking care to handle goods safely and securely.
  • Use electronic Proof of Delivery (POD) systems and other technology to manage deliveries and collections.

Requirements:

  • A valid UK C+E driving license.
  • At least 12 months of previous Class 1 driving experience.
  • Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
  • No more than 6 points on your driving license.
  • 'Right To Work' in the UK.
  • Good knowledge of drivers' hours and WTD regulations.
