Position Overview:
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our residential properties. This position is essential for maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance Coordination: Oversee and execute maintenance tasks across the property, ensuring that all work is performed to high standards.
  • Contractor Management: Supervise external contractors, ensuring their work aligns with our quality expectations and safety regulations.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement and manage the maintenance program effectively, liaising with relevant parties to ensure seamless operations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to maintain a positive atmosphere and uphold the aesthetic appeal of the property.

Daily Duties:
  • Conduct routine checks and perform reactive maintenance as needed.
  • Handle minor electrical repairs in compliance with UK regulations.
  • Maintain the exterior and interior aesthetics, including litter collection and landscaping.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of outdoor areas, including pathways and parking lots.
  • Manage seasonal tasks such as jet washing and indoor maintenance during colder months.
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor to provide updates and address any issues promptly.

Qualifications:
  • First Aid and Fire Warden training or willingness to obtain.
  • Practical skills in carpentry, decorating, gardening, and basic plumbing.
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, including Manual Handling and Risk Assessments.
  • Familiarity with database software for job tracking.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £28,000, commensurate with experience, along with a discretionary bonus. Additional benefits include:
