Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Job Summary: Jobheron is seeking a skilled and dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team at our state-of-the-art warehouse facility in the UK. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including unloading goods, organizing warehouse space, and maintaining a high level of quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unloading and Receiving: Unload goods from incoming shipments and ensure they are accurately received and stored in the warehouse.
  • Warehouse Organization: Organize and maintain a clean and efficient warehouse environment, including labeling and tracking inventory.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all products meet our high standards.
  • Picking and Packaging: Pick and package orders for shipment to customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies to management.

Requirements:

  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Time Management: Ability to work efficiently and effectively, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Education and Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with a forklift license an asset.
