Key Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team at Bespoke Personnel. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key customer accounts and driving new business development.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of accounts across various industries, including catering, distributors, wholesalers, and multiple supermarkets.
- Travel to customers as required and maintain regular communication to identify new opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and business owners.
- Grow and develop accounts in line with business needs.
- Attend key customer business review meetings on and off-site.
- Promote and sell products in the food market to acquire new business, focusing on the foodservice sector.
- Adhere to the new business process to ensure duplication does not occur.
- Participate in marketing days, such as Trade Days, working alongside the marketing team.
- Liaise with the internal marketing team to create tailored brochures.
- Complete sampling events.
- Liaise with the Supply Chain team to ensure stock availability, particularly on promotional activities.
- Liaise with the Supply Chain team to ensure orders received are processed.
- Provide monthly and quarterly sales updates to the Head of Sales and the Sales team.
- Complete competitor analysis and report back to the Head of Sales and the sales team.
- Adhere to company compliance standards.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities reasonably expected of the post holder.
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external clients.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft products and systems, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- FMCG sales background.
- A knowledge of the frozen foods industry is preferred.
- HNC qualified or above.
- GCSE (minimum C in English and Maths).
- Ideal candidate should be able to speak Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, or similar languages.
