Job Description

Brentedwards is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing manufacturing processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process Design and Development:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to co-design products and processes.
  • Conduct style assessments, monitor requirements, and develop assembly integration and validation plans.
  • Define part lists, participate in meetings, and conduct technical reviews.
  • Manage DST and assembly, and contribute to SP2 assessments.
Assembly Process Adaptation:
  • Develop assembly sequences, quotations, and process sheets.
  • Define operating processes, and develop product and process feasibility for assembly.
  • Provide technical proposals to guarantee assembly.
Tool and Equipment Creation:
  • Develop FOA requests for study of specific tools or feasibility of assembling.
  • Participate in the construction of ways of integrating and validating processes.
  • Conduct assembly evaluations, and create process sheets.
Assembly Process Sheets:
  • Define operating modes, and evaluate time needed for operations using MTM2 analysis.
  • Realize illustrations from PLM of P sheets (M, D, E, and A) from CAO.
  • Reduce tightening diversity, and write process sheets in English.
Validation and Transfer:
  • Transfer process sheets to manufacturing teams.
  • Manage assembly issues, and participate in updating process sheets.
  • Support assembly unit leaders, and transfer process sheets to serial teams.
Requirements:
  1. HNC/Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Engineering.
  2. MTM2 Qualification is desirable.
