Job OverviewRole SummaryAs a Production Planning Specialist, you will provide essential planning support to the Maintenance department, ensuring that all necessary resources—personnel, materials, equipment, data, and facilities—are available for scheduled maintenance operations. Your role will be pivotal in managing work packages to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Shift Managers with production planning, ensuring all resources are prepared for maintenance activities.
  • Analyze man-hour capacity for Scheduled Maintenance Inspections and Ad Hoc Maintenance tasks.
  • Develop comprehensive Maintenance work packages, including all relevant data and documentation required for scheduled maintenance.
  • Oversee the management of work packages distributed to the Part 145 Maintenance Organisation, maintaining accurate records of all issued and returned work cards.
  • Ensure that all maintenance documentation is properly accounted for and completed in accordance with AS.2728 & AS.2713 standards, with certification from qualified engineers where necessary.
  • Organize and coordinate the distribution of maintenance task cards to Part 145 engineers, optimizing efficiency while considering human factors.
  • Collaborate with the Operators Part M organization to ensure timely planning of maintenance and availability of work packages to the Part 145 Maintenance Organisation.
  • Represent AirTanker Services Limited in discussions with third-party agencies and committees, maintaining effective communication.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience as a Production Planner or Controller within a civilian Part 145 Maintenance environment.
  • Strong understanding of EASA regulations related to Part 145 Production Planning.
  • Proficient in computer literacy, particularly with planning software.
