Senior Project Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager to join the Galldris Group team. To be considered, you will come from a Civil Engineering Background.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee higher value, fast turnover, or complex delivery programmes.
  • Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects within timeframe targets and budgets.
  • Ensure good programme management, including short-term planning and communication with the team.
  • Administer and approve contract programmes, ensuring that project contract documents are understood and the contract is being administered correctly.
Project Management

The postholder will be responsible for every aspect of the project, including:

  • Ensuring that the project team comply with all relevant safe systems of work.
  • Providing resources and active management for any third-party liaison and management of interfaces.
  • Ensuring that the Galldris project team are correctly managing quality in accordance with the Quality Management Plan, including ITPs, Check Sheets/WIS and NCRs.
  • Setting up and ensuring document control procedures and electronic platforms are in place and adhered to correctly.
  • Developing project controls for internal and external reporting and adherence to any internal/external KPI reporting.
Design and Risk Management

The postholder will also be responsible for:

  • Supporting design management function and adhering to design management procedures.
  • Actively managing risks and opportunities.
Reporting and Communication

The postholder will prepare and present:

  • Monthly Project Progress Reports to the customer.
  • Monthly Project Reviews and CVRs to Galldris Senior Management Team.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Experience in working on a variety of large-scale project types.
  • Temporary Works experience.
  • Experience in presenting detailed reports to the Senior Management Team.
Desirable Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
