Job SummaryThe Principal Pipeline Engineer will be responsible for interpreting internal and external business challenges in the pipeline engineering discipline. This role requires specialized depth and breadth of expertise in pipeline engineering.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret internal and external business challenges in the pipeline engineering discipline.
- Recommend best practices and solve complex pipeline-related problems.
- Lead functional teams or projects and provide technical direction.
- Develop and maintain global procedures, software, and standards.
- Participate in standards development committees or task groups.
- Develop communication and presentation skills.
- Prepare working forecasts and provide discipline inputs for progress reports.
- Monitor KPI measurement results and take corrective action.
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering.
- Fifteen-twenty years of experience in Oil and Gas with major contractor or consultant.
- Detailed knowledge of design techniques and analysis methods.
- Knowledgeable in project coordination and execution skills.
- Preferably Registered Professional Engineer or member of Professional Engineering Society.
- Very good organizer, motivator, and supervisor.
- Able to solve problems without assistance.
- Keen on improving the effectiveness of the work.
- HSE, TQM, and cost-conscious.
- Fluent in the English language.
